Staffordshire Peak District Tourism Association

The Staffordshire Peak District Tourism association is a constituted voluntary organisation open to any person or organisation with an interest in tourism in the Staffordshire Moorlands District Council or North-West part of East Staffordshire Borough Council areas. We are fully independent and have free membership, our aim is to try and represent the views of the tourism industry and to be a place where any member can lodge their views and opinions, knowing that we will endeavour to support them.

The Staffordshire peak District Tourism Association has been in existence since April 2008 and from the outset we have had the Churnet Valley as a target area requiring recognition and protection. We have supported the Churnet Valley Landscape Partnership from the outset and we hope to see it as a step toward further recognitions, such as the awarding of AONB (Area of Outstanding National Beauty) in the future.
